Federico Simeoni is a student in the MA Visual Communication Design program at Aalto University who works with data visualisations, charts, maps, and interfaces in different fields: from education to genetic research. Federico’s independent practice investigates the potentialities of data feminism, specifically in the MA thesis project, Querying the Quantification of the Queer in which two interactive visualisations of the gender spectrum are able to produce precise and inclusive gender data.
