Making a data visualisation accessible for people with disabilities can be intimidating when you're just getting started. This workshop with Frank Elavsky will help you to develop strategies and skills for making your own accessible data visualisations!
In this workshop we will experiment with sketching as an analog technique for creating data stories. Sketching allows for quick reasoning and creative thinking, posing little to no technical boundaries. We will draw from the rich tradition of sketching for information visualization to inform three main task: exploration, collection and prototyping.
